Maxim Magazine Understands Human Nature
I was in the grocery store the other day, wading around while my mother bought me my three hundred dollar food supply (I like to eat), when I came across the latest Maxim magazine. I picked it up, flipped it open, and after browsing at the titties for a minute, found two pages of what was aptly titled “The Evolution of Man.” (Or something to that affect) The pictures were rendered in a retro 80’s arcade style, and it displayed a little chart parodying our cultural evolution.
There was this little picture of a man carrying a wheelbarrow with a woman sitting in it. The era: 9,000 years ago. The most clever little caption carried along with the little picture; “Man creates wheel: so begins the time in which woman start to judge their mating partners based upon what kind of wheels they have.”
Not a “haha” sort of laughter, but the one that makes you smirk and wonder who was sitting at the office one day contemplating how people nowadays end up having kids. There probably wasn’t to much discerning needed; it’s rather obvious how flashing trends inevitably lead to the procreation and so-called “growth” of society.
That crafty writer doesn’t even know how right he is. He probably was on some coffee break, wading around like I was in the supermarket, when he suddenly saw the guy in the next cubicle flirting with a secretary…and thought to himself “how does that fat fuck get all those girls?” Then it donned on him “oh yeah, he’s driving a new Mercedes Benz, and I’m driving my mom’s minivan.” And there we are.
Stands to be an absolute truth however: that is how women usually “fall” in love. It’s not personality, or anything to do with “compatibility.” Instead, most relationships are based upon what kind of style you exhibit…the usual facts of buying things you don’t need, or ringing up debt; so on…those things usually don’t matter. At least that’s the opinion of this social observer.

This is something horrible. It needs to be banned. There was an episode of “Law and Order’ in which this came up. The girl in the story was saved, at least temporarily from what I can remember. The torturer was murdered. These people kill off a part of the person with their brutal acts. As far as male circumcision, I can’t comment on much, I hope the baby is given something for pain. I learned about a boy in Canada that had that done to him. That was a horrible nightmare, the doctor cut off his penis. His parents took him to the U.S. to basically have a sex change, as a child. This really happened. He always felt different. He learned about it as an adult or late teens. He married, divorced and committed suicide. Religion is something that I believe a person should choose, as an adult. Journalism 5 student.
